About US
Starting at a young age we became exposed to the fishing and culinary traditions of Cape
Cod. With years of experience in the shellfishing and restaurant industry we have decided to
start our own company to share our love for fresh ingredients and fresh ideas.. Founded in
2004 at the Wellfleet Oyster Festival, Pirate Shellfish has quickly become a local favorite.
About our design
We took our concept of a oyster with cross bones to local artist, and Pirate Shellfish
friend,Susan Baker. She slapped a patch on it, and the rest is history. . .yarr.
